PhotoFriday: Red
I love Photofriday. It gives me a chance to comb over some old photos and look through others submissions in an effort to improve in skills within my favorite hobby.
The challenge topics are usually either very easy to fill, or very difficult. This one, I immediately thought of this picture as it is one of my all time favorites. I decided to keep looking as it didn't quite fit the theme. Combing thought I found this shot, which again isn't quite on theme, and this one better fits into the category of Pink. I went with the above shot because it is quite nice, it is very technical, and it fits the theme quite well.
I took this picture at the first of our Smashenings when I was still using film. It was actually at this event, that I decided it was finally time to go digital. We used a sound trigger along with a slingshot to fire a small steel ball at various objects. This shot we used coloured water and I was shotting the slingshot. I hit quite high on the glass, which resulted in the spectacular splash.
