October Already
I just got back from a business trip to Halifax, and in the week I was gone Calgary has been overrun by fall colours. There were quite a few yellows and oranges about, but the apple tree still had about half its green leaves. Upon my return the bulk of the foilage is on the ground, and everywhere you look: Fall now rules.
Other news: It has been about 8 weeks since I first stood on the scale. This morning the little guy told me I was 260 pounds with approximately 31% body fat. I feel pretty good about my start, which is motivating towards keeping it up.
Coming up in a little over a week is Turkey Day, followed closely by the Canadian Federal Election. I'm pretty sure the two are related. Over the long weekend, the Mother Unit is coming to town with her man, and I'll be trying to keep her from starting any new projects around my house before we have dinner on the Monday.
